«Rondom Schlatt»

Sun and a view, what more could a hiker's heart desire?

Pure relaxation awaits you on this pleasant panoramic walk, which begins at the Schlatter Church and turns onto the gravel path directly in front of the Hotel Bären with its beautiful panoramic terrace. Follow this gravel path and soon you will find yourself walking through a meadow that leads to Gehrenbergstrasse Street. Here you can enjoy the view of the Gehrenberg-Saul area with its scattered farms and well-tended meadows for the last time. On Flurstrasse Street- the entire Alpstein massif from Kamor to Säntis always in view - you will now hike downhill and pass several very well-kept properties. After a few hundred metres, turn right onto the meadow path. After a short steep descent, you will reach a small wooded area. Walk around the edge of the terrain and enjoy the perfectly placed benches and the idyllic view of Schlatt. Past the "Stockerers" property, after a few metres on the road, you will reach the St. Josef Church again and the end of your round trip.

Remarks

Tip: When the fog lies on the valley floor in autumn (especially in November), you can enjoy pure sunshine in Schlatt.

Notice: Please follow the white signposts "Rondom Schlatt". The path can be completed in both directions.
