Nebst einem grossen Doppelzimmer bieten wir auch ein kleines Matratzenlager mit Aufenthaltsraum an.

The B&B is located in the beautiful Appenzellerland. You can go hiking with different levels of difficulty. For refreshment you will receive a rich breakfast. The train station can be reached on foot in 7 minutes.
From 3 overnight stays you will receive the Appenzeller holiday card.

We offer a cosy room with double bed in a quiet yet central location just a few minutes walk from the village centre of Appenzell.

The room is on the lower floor of a detached house (built in 2021) with two children and two cats. Our guests have their own bathroom with shower, hairdryer, towels and soap. The room itself is equipped with a dining area and a small fridge. Coffee and tea are always available. A cot, high chair and toys can also be provided on request. There is also a playground 150 metres away. If required, there is a storage and drying room, e.g. for skis or wet clothes. The washing machine and tumble dryer can also be used for an extra charge.

 From 3 nights we can offer you the Appenzell holiday card including free arrival and departure by public transport.

Renovated house in the immediate vicinity of the train station "Sammelplatz" in Meistersrüte. Ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours with wonderful views of the Alpstein, cross-country ski trail nearby. WC/shower on the floor, large playground directly in front of the house, lounge.

The Hotel B&B Stossplatz is a two-minute walk from Appenzell railway station. Close to the centre and yet quiet, the B&B Stossplatz is the ideal starting point for your discovery tours.

You can book rooms spontaneously and without pre-booking at any time at the self check-in terminal.  Rooms booked online or by telephone can also be checked in independently and according to your personal holiday schedule.

Our generous breakfast buffet is ready for you from 07.30 to 09.30.

After an eventful day on holiday, you can treat yourself to a cold beer in the lounge, sweeten the day with board games, coffee, tea and home-made delicacies, or browse through our library with a glass of wine.  Coffee, tea and fresh fruit are available free of charge throughout your stay.

There is a lockable bicycle garage behind the house. E-bikes can also be recharged here. You will receive access with your room card. Hiking boots can also be stored here. A washing machine and tumble dryer are now available for our guests in the basement.

Would you like to enjoy your departure day to the full? With your room card you have access to the lounge until 6.00 pm. You can leave your luggage there (unlocked) and enjoy your holiday to the full.

Our typical Appenzellerhaus is surrounded by greenery. The beautiful breakfast room has an original tiled stove. The service is in the "Appezölle dialect". With us you simply feel at home. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the center, five minutes to the Hirschberg bus stop.

The "Alte Metzg" is a different kind of accommodation in the village of Appenzell. In the over 500-year-old house, the boutique guesthouse with six lovingly furnished rooms and the hostel with two multi-bed rooms invite you to enjoy a relaxing and carefree stay - ideal for solo travelers, couples, families and groups. The entire building was renovated in 2021.

This cozy vacation room for 2 people is very sunny and centrally located in the heart of Appenzell. It is equipped with a double bed, wardrobe, bistro seating area, fridge, coffee machine and microwave. Separate shower / WC for single use. Separate house entrance with well-kept garden seating area for shared use. Lower first floor. 

In the immediate vicinity is a public park with barbecue facilities and children's playground. The historic Landsgemeindeplatz, restaurants and public parking / public transport are just a few minutes' walk away. The Appenzeller vacation card with free travel by public transport is available free of charge for bookings of 3 nights or more.

For over 400 years, the Convent of Maria der Engel was an important spiritual center for Appenzell and a place of education for generations of girls. Since the departure of the last sisters, a foundation has been running the convent, including a guesthouse and a convent store.

Whoever enters the buildings today senses the atmosphere of cultivated silence and prayer. This spirit and the simple beauty of the house invite you to pause and reflect. When you spend the night in a former sister's room, you sense how little it takes to live - according to the motto "Enough of too much" ... a special experience. The monastery of Appenzell is a station on the Way of St. James and the Jersualemweg. For pilgrims we offer 6 specially furnished pilgrim rooms. In addition to pilgrims on the Way of St. James, we also welcome guests who are looking for contemplative peace away from the hustle and bustle in a spiritually unique building.

The quiet, simple hostel has 19 rooms in three categories. Wet rooms are located on the floor in all of them. Bedding and towels are provided. On request rich breakfast per person: CHF 10.^_.

Furthermore, there is a seminar room and a group room for 8 - 50 people.

The Neuhof is a bijou in Appenzell - warm, genuine and close. The Bed & Breakfast is a place to spend time with loved ones.
A starting point for exploring the picturesque Appenzellerland, at the foot of the Säntis. 

The guest house has four double rooms, two family rooms, a junior suite and a breakfast and event room. Host Lukas is also happy to cook for groups in the evening; just as you like it. Guests will also find all kinds of culinary delights in the hotel's own gourmet atelier with many regional delicacies.
