Eggerstanden Round Trip
Off to the barely inhabited village Eggerstanden.
After the last couple of houses, you will find yourself amid many meadows. You will see the snow-covered Säntis mountain in all its pride. Parallel to the not-so-busy road on top of the hill you will see the Hoher Hirschberg mountain inn as well as the many scattered farmhouses. Make your way back to Eggerstanden on the flat trail. The romantic landscape and the village Eggerstanden attract visitors especially during sundown with the glorious evening light as your companion.
The only sound you will most likely hear is that of the wind. Therefore, we advise you to bring a scarf. Lastly, you can warm up after or before your hike by having a bite to eat at one of the inns in Eggerstanden.
Tip: Exceptionally beautiful in the evening hours with the last rays of sunshine.
