«Rondom Hasle»
The insider's tip among all round trips. Sun-kissed and especially beautiful in winter with little snow, the hike is perfect for those seeking a rather gentle but spectacular trail through nature.
Downhill you leave the village centre of Haslen and after just a few steps you are in the wide, agriculturally used Hinterhaslen area. After crossing a small stream, the mostly flat meadow path leads past well-kept farms in the direction of Teufen. At the edge of the forest, at the Auen property, do not follow the path down to the confluence of the Sitter and Rotbach (popular as a bathing place in summer) rivers, but instead, turn right. Follow the Flurstrasse Street toward the main road. Cross the main road and after a few metres, the trail leads uphill through a short section of forest to Innerrhoden's most beautiful wayside shrine (St. Wendelin). Here you have an extremely beautiful view of the Alpstein massif greeting you on the horizon. Along the edge of the forest, the meadow path now leads down to the road you crossed earlier. A few steps more and you are back at the starting point.
Tip: In the morning and evening hours, the Alpstein massif shines particularly beautifully in the distance.
Note: Please follow the white signposts «Rondom Hasle». The trail can be completed in both directions.
