«Rondom Brölisau»

Following two idyllic loops around Brülisau.

The starting point for the hike is on Brülisau's village square, by the valley station of the Hoher Kasten cable car and the mighty Church of St. Sebastian. After a worthwhile look inside the amazingly large and colourful church, turn your back on it and take a leisurely hike along the road towards Pfannenstiel. The scattered farmhouses on both sides of the road are among the most beautiful in Innerrhoden. Shortly before the valley station of the Alp Sigel cableway, turn right and follow the bank of the Brüelbach Stream until a steep staircase leads up to the village square and church on the right.
The second loop of this round trip joins here by crossing under the large bridge and briefly following the Horstbach Stream until it joins the Brüelbach Stream. After a short idyllic forest section, you can cross the stream again and a short zigzag ascent brings you to the houses of the "Äusserer Horst" neighbourhood. From here on it is not far back to Brülisau, where you can stop for a bite to eat.

Remarks

Tip: The magnificent meadow flora on the Pfannenstiel-Brülisau section which lasts well into the summer.

Notice: Please follow the white signs "Rondom Brölisau". The path can be completed in both directions.
