You can reach the Kornberg mountain via a cable car. Once you have arrived on top you can enjoy a bite to eat before your hike at the mountain inn. The summit cross as well as the bench are the perfect opportunity for you to sit and enjoy the view before descending. This is also where the sledding route begins. Your hike runs parallel to the said route for the large part. After a short and steep descent, you will pass the so-called St. Jakob Chapel. Not far from here and already in view, you will find the Berggasthaus Scheidegg (mountain inn). Soon after you will find yourself in «Hütten» quarters, where many alp animals spend their summer. Furthermore, you will see a lot of alp huts. Continue on your hike and keep left, where you will find the «Ros» property. Eventually, you will reach the forest and then pass the Wissbach Stream and the camping site down to the valley station.

Tip: The winter hike can be done in the opposite direction as well (time: +1 hour).
