Traube Restaurant & Hotel

The Restaurant-Hotel Traube is a traditional inn in the heart of the village of Appenzell. The rustic restaurant with its adjoining banquet hall, the beautiful terrace, and the charming garden beneath the trees invite locals and tourists alike to linger.
Hearty traditional dishes are prepared for you using regional and seasonal ingredients, sometimes classic, sometimes with a modern twist, with sophistication and a contemporary flair.

The hotel was completely renovated in the spring of 2023 and offers eight modern, individually designed rooms that are perfect for a short or extended stay.
The Restaurant-Hotel Traube is centrally located, just a five-minute walk from the Appenzell train station, and has three private parking spaces.

Hotel rooms will be booked without breakfast. Upon request and for an additional fee, guests can enjoy breakfast directly across the street at the Café Drei König bakery or a few steps further at the Café Hotel Appenzell.
