This easy route, which runs along a little-used and snow-plowed side road throughout, promises not only lots of sunshine but also plenty of panoramic views. As the hiking trail is signalled with white additional signs, labelled "Aussichtsweg obedöri", the route is very safe, so you can concentrate entirely on enjoying the scenery. The Leimensteig area that you hike through is almost picture-perfect with its scattered farmhouses. On the way, you will also have a wonderful view of the Alps again and again, and about halfway in, the Gasthaus Leimensteig (inn) will tempt you to take a break. Tip: This hiking trail is ideal for enjoying the rays of sunshine alongside the best views, mostly above the fog line and at both churches St. Josef, Schlatt and Maria Hilf, Haslen it is worth taking a look inside as well.
